The Mary Hunt Fire-Resistant Face Mask
In 1940, Mary Hunt helped save the world by discovering a strain of Penicillium bacteria in cantaloupe, which would go on to be used in the first antibiotic. Today, the Mary Face Mask is here to help us protect each other from spreading viruses and germs. The inherent FR fabric provides fire protection for workers in pyrophoric settings where synthetic fabrics and cotton may melt under exposure to fire and heat. The Mary Hunt is constructed from a double-layered bi-component knit, which is scientifically proven to pulled moisture away from the surface of the skin keeping your face cool and breathable. The minimal ergonomic design with only one seam allows for comfortable long wear and is great for activities that require moving around. The mask is designed to be worn alone as a face covering or with a surgical mask for additional fire protection.
